For Power Saving Mode, the 3D-Active Fan will not operate during non 3D rendering in order to reduce power consumption. This not only makes the system more energy-efficient, but also prolongs fan lifespan. When implementing 3D instructions and playing 3D games, 3D-Active Fan triggers Performance Upgrade Mode, allowing the fan to operate for an enhanced level of graphics performance. When no longer executing 3D instructions, GIGABYTE's 3D-Active Fan enters Protection Mode, allowing the fan to operate for an additional 5 seconds in order to transfer excess heat from the GPU, creating a more stable system environment.
