Infiniti CD-R are compact discs designed to be recordable on any compatible CD writing device. Many CD reading devices in HiFi cannot record onto CD-R - you need a CD Recording device, which can both read and record with CD-R. Almost all DVD writers can also write to CD-R. CD-R are used to record so many things now, they can really be used by anyone you can record data, music, video, games and backup on to them. They really are a great robust medium that is easy to handle, low cost, and resilient in transit.
